Qatar wins best airline in the world of the "Skytrax"


Qatar Airways was named "Best Airline in the World 2012" and that for the second year in a row, as well as the awards "Best Airline in the Middle East" for the seventh year in a row, and "the best service staff in the Middle East" during the awards ceremony " Skytrax "World Airlines, which was held on the sidelines of the exhibition" Farnbra "air in the United Kingdom.


According to the Qatar News Agency (QNA), press release said the airline that its victory was based on a global survey of opinion conducted by "Skytrax" competent to monitor the quality of airline services, and included more than 18 million passengers, tourists and businessmen from more than 100 countries.

The poll of more than 200 airlines around the world ranging from local and international companies, and was conducted over ten months by telephone and questionnaires and the Internet to measure the satisfaction of travelers about their experience with the airlines on the ground and during flight based on more than 38 key indicators, including the registration service access to flights, the level of comfort provided by the aircraft seats, and the cleanliness of cabins and food and beverage, and entertainment systems on board the plane, and service staff.

And Mr. Akbar Al Baker, CEO Qatar Airways pleased penile awards, and considered all the staff in recognition of the carrier for their dedication and their commitment to their work. He said: "We are very proud to honor our passengers to us for services we provide to them, and we won the title indicates the first airline in the world for the year 2012, we have become the airline of choice for travelers around the world."

Qatar Airways today operates a modern fleet of 109 aircraft to 117 major destination for tourism and work in Europe and the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Pacific and North and South America.
